Class Descriptions
Beginner Yoga: If you think you cannot touch your toes, this class is for you! Learn the basics of the poses, breathing, and meditation with attention to the details of alignment and breath.
Yoga Intermediate (Level 1-2): All are welcome to this challenging yoga class designed to improve muscular strength, endurance, balance, and flexibility while releasing stress and freeing the mind.
Yoga for Seniors: This class is especially designed with older adults in mind. Stretch and become more flexible in the safest, most effective class possible.
Soul Sweat Yoga: This 75 minute yoga class “is a dynamic vinyasa flow yoga which maximally challenges the body and mind while maintaining a sense of ease, joy, fun and freedom in the body." Wendy Gross-Pinto, creatrix of Soul Sweat Asana.
Restorative Yoga: Perfect for those desiring a gentle pace along with the release of emotional stresses and muscular tension. This is class uses props such as blankets, bolsters and blocks along with meditation to allow your body to restore its natural ability to relax.
Ki-Healing Yoga: Become calm and focused. Feel your body and brain. Stay in the moment. We will do stretches that utilize the natural healing power of your body, some cardio for your heart and meditation for your inner peace.
Ki-Healing Tai Chi: Experience dynamic forms of meditation as you move your body to the free flow of vital energy. Becoming one with the energy flow of your body will give you a deeply fulfilling sense of peace, joy and centeredness.
Ki-Healing Yoga and Cardio: Do you like moving your body and feeling your muscles get tone? This is a perfect class for that! Experience the strengthening of your body, but at the same time learn more about your body and the endless possibility of creation within it.
Ki-Healing Kids' Yoga: This class, for ages 7 and up, includes brain-based physical emotional and cognitive exercises as well as postures, breathing techniques, guided imagery and games, The ultimate goal is to gain an empowering sense of trust in their brain potential and use this power to create health, happiness and peace.
Cardio Dance: You will dance to all of your music favorites while dipping and swaying with easy to follow movements. This is a calorie-burning dance party!! You will love this class!
